So….we have some warm weather for a few days this week. Hip, hip…hooray!! In general, this winter means you had better like the color white. There sure has been lots of white dusty snow covering the fields around Deltaville and plenty of ice floating in our beautiful creeks and rivers.
I want you to read a funny email ‘Titled: Life Is Good’. We received this email on 1/24 from the owner of ‘Royal Serf’, a 42′ Catalina, as he enjoys winter in the Bahamas.

“Weather Alert! We just heard that the Bahamas and Caribbean would be sunned in for several days. Residents have been urged to hunker down at the nearest beach for further instructions. Use extreme caution when braving this blizzard of sunshine, preferable SPF 30 or higher. We are asking our friends and relatives up north to please keep us in their thoughts and prayers as we deal with our 2 feet buried in the sand.’ ….from Royal Serf:)
