$4,000 price reduction NOVEMBER 2017. BRING OFFERS! "Carrie L" was built in Solomons, Maryland by Zahniser’s Yachting Center. The hull and sail plan of Carrie L are unchanged from the original L. Francis Herreshoff design for Diddikai. A lean but powerful double ender, she is of the same family as Herreshoff’s Dulcinea and the lighter displacement Rosinzante, all intended to sail fast and handle well in a wide variety of conditions. The modifications to the original design include a lengthened cabin trunk that trades deck space for more room below, a different forward hatch taken from another Herreshoff design, a newer rigging plan that incorporated more modern fittings and a slant toward high performance sailing. Carrie L has been maintained by Zahniser’s Yachting Center since she was built and is in very good condition. Full construction plans available to the new owners of Carrie L as well as all service records.   Your accommodations include a berth forward to port and a second berth forward to starboard. The head is aft to port with storage opposite. The main cabin has port and starboard settees. A drop leaf table is in the cabin for dining. The head room in the cabin is 6′ 3" to accommodate your tallest sailors.
